Or hope is based in an almighty God who spoke the world into creation and on the promises of God as written in the Bible.

• Secular Hope – Expectation of desire and wants. A wish without foundational basis.
• Biblical Hope – Expectation with confidence based on the power and promises of God (Colossians 1:16-17)
