To Curve a Generation

Psalm 78:1-2

• Establishing urgency and importance

Psalm 78:9-12

• Israel-wanting to go against God’s law

Psalm 78:17-18

• Israel- actually going against God’s law

Psalms 78:29

• Israel-Participating in their own desire

When we give desire to our own heart:

• Sometime God’s greatest judgement is to give: it to us.
  • • Psalm 78:19-20
    • James 1:17
• We begin to make exceptions to God’s law
  • • Deuteronomy 1:28
    • Matthew 23:4
    • Jeremiah 29:11

So the next generation can know:

• Deuteronomy 6:4-9
  • Give everything to God’s authority
  • Be consistent to God’s authority
  • Show trust in God’s authority
