Missions Conference: Fishers of Men

The Reality:

• 3.2 Billions people have little to no access to the Gospel
• 2,000 language communities do not have access to a Bible

Missions is the most important endeavor in our lives.

• 2 Corinthians 8
  • Churches in Macedonia were financially depleted
• 2 Corinthians 8:5

We should put God first in everything:

• Pray
• Give
• Go
  • 2 Corinthians 10:15
  • 2 Corinthians 9:7-8

Five truths

• Personal giving
• Planned giving
• Persistent giving
• Positive giving
• Proving giving

God is able

• Matthew 6:21
  • Faith- it takes faith
  • Promise- you are promising to God
  • Missions- its the reason for your giving
• Acts 8

Two important questions:

• What does it cost you to serve the Lord?
• What do you think it should cost to serve the Lord?
