Truth or Consequences

Is sincerity the magic ingredient that makes something true?

Walking in line

  • A spirit in the world that opposes or denies Christ
  • The false teachers that embody this spirit
  • A person who will head up the final world rebellion against Christ

Two Forces in this World

• Truth through the church by the Holy Spirit
• Evil by the energy of Satan

Depart from Faith

• True Christians have something in common
• The Bible, Jesus, the gospel, saved by faith, indwelt by the Spirit, belief in the return of Christ
• They may differ on many minor things, but not things that separate them

Denial of Faith

• Unction – anointing
• 1 Corinthians 6:19
• Romans 8:9
• 1 Corinthians 2:9-10

Deceive the Faithful

• Seduce – lead astray
• Satan is a counterfeiter

Guided in Truth

• Anointed
• Abide
• Appear
• Ashamed
