Kids Outdoor Zone (KOZ)

Kids Outdoor Zone is an outdoor adventure ministry for boys ages 8–18, where godly men step in as mentors to guide the next generation in outdoor skills and Christ-centered character. Rooted in Proverbs 22:6 — “Train up a child in the way he should go” — KOZ pairs hands-on adventure with a biblical worldview, giving boys a place to grow in confidence, competence, and faith alongside men who have walked the trail before them.

Each once-a-month Saturday brings a new adventure: backpacking, fishing, hunting, camping, firearm safety and training, and hands-on work with tools and building projects. Along the way, boys learn what it means to walk with the Lord, lean on the Holy Spirit, and become the kind of men God calls them to be. Past outings have included events like a full-day Firearm Safety & Training session with lunch provided — a mix of practical instruction and time in the Word.

Boys of all backgrounds are welcome, and there is no cost to participate. Whether your son is a seasoned outdoorsman or has never spent a night under the stars, there’s a place for him here.

Watch for upcoming dates, drop-off details, and activity announcements — and come ready for adventure.
