Planning Your Visit

We’re glad you’re considering visiting Overland Park Baptist Church. Whether you’re exploring faith, looking for a church home, or visiting with family, we want your first visit to feel comfortable and welcoming. We encourage you to come as you are and be met with open arms.

If you’d like a personal welcome, we’d love to hear from you before you visit.

When you arrive, look for the welcome area near either entrance. If you’ve let us know you’re coming, we’ll be watching for you. Otherwise, you’re always welcome to stop by and ask for help.

Letting us know you’re coming helps us:

  • Have someone ready to greet you

  • Help with nursery or children’s check-in

  • Show you around the building

  • Help you find life groups or classes

Kids & Students

We welcome children and students of all ages and want families to feel comfortable choosing what works best for them.

  • Infants & Toddlers (Birth–2 Years)

    We provide nursery care for infants up to age 2. Our nursery is a safe, caring environment, and we’re happy to help you get your child checked in and settled.

  • Preschool (Ages 2–5)

    Children ages 2 through 5 have age-appropriate classes designed to help them learn about God in a fun and engaging way.

  • Elementary-Age Kids

    Elementary-age children have a class available, as well as a junior church option during the service. Families are also welcome to have their children attend the regular worship service with them. We’re glad to support whichever option your family prefers.

  • Middle School & High School

    Middle school and high school students have a class available and also attend the regular worship service. Students are encouraged to grow through learning, service, and worship alongside the church family.

Connect Class

If you’d like to learn more about Overland Park Baptist Church, we offer a Connect Class where you can meet with the Pastor and learn more about our mission and what we believe.

  • Held on Sundays at 9:30 AM

  • Offered periodically

  • No obligation — just an opportunity to learn and ask questions
