Teaching Goals 2025-2026

High School Sunday School

Through the four years of high school, our Sunday morning is for students to learn two core truths of the Bible each year and develop spiritual habits that lead to spiritual independence. This year, our emphasis will be on Christ and Sin.

Over thirteen weeks, students will hear a compelling presentation of evidence that Jesus is the Son of God by studying the Gospel of John. It will challenge them to put their faith in Christ and follow Him.

Students will learn about the dawning and devastation of sin and the hope found in Jesus. They will gain insight into themselves and the world around them while being challenged to trust in Jesus Christ to have victory over sin.

The biblical account of Esther will compel students to realize that even in unsure times, God is moving. He has a purpose and is working in and through them for “such a time as this.”

Students will review core Bible doctrines and compare them to the belief systems of current false religions and cults. They will learn and understand that Jesus is the only way to God.

Many people in the Bible chose selflessness, loyalty, and devotion to Christ, while others chose to glorify self, deceive, and disobey. Students will learn about the importance of making mature and purposeful choices.

What you BELIEVE will determine

What you VALUE which will determine

How you BEHAVE which will determine
